Clementine Chamomile Curtains
Clementine & Vanilla Chamomile. A different way to make the moment yours.

Clementine brings a softer citrus flavor than lemon, giving chamomile a gentle fruit note without a particularly sharp finish. A little alcohol-free vanilla adds a rounded aroma. Add the juice after brewing rather than boiling it with the tea, which helps keep the citrus character clearer. This doesn't need to taste like a sweet orange drink; the chamomile should still be noticeable. It is a simple evening cup with a familiar scent and a slightly different finish from plain herbal tea.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
- 6 oz Water
- 2 oz Clementine juice
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
Make it
- Prepare any fruit as listed, removing stones, cores and hard stems.
- Brew the tea in the measured water according to its packet, then remove the bag.
- Whisk any nut or seed butter into a spoonful of the hot tea first. Add it back with the fruit, juice, spices or other listed flavorings. Warm gently in a small pan for 3–4 minutes if needed to soften fruit; do not boil.
- Strain if preferred, removing whole peel, herb or ginger pieces. Serve at a comfortable drinking temperature.
