Cherry Whiskey Porch

NA Whiskey Cherry Lemon Highball. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Cherry Whiskey Porch

Cherry juice gives this NA whiskey drink a darker fruit note, and lemon keeps the ginger ale’s sweetness from becoming too soft. The result depends partly on the spirit alternative: oakier styles give the cherry more contrast than very sweet ones. Mix the still ingredients before adding the ginger ale. It’s worth tasting the lemon carefully, because cherry is already tart and the glass shouldn’t need a sour expression to get through it.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz NA whiskey
  • 4 oz Ginger ale
  • 2 oz Tart cherry juice
  • 1/2 oz Lemon juice

Make it

  1. Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
  2. Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.

Benefits

Lemon · a little vitamin C

Using lemon with NA whiskey, ginger, and cherry brings vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, along with a clean citrus sharpness.

Ginger · more than a sweet mixer

With NA whiskey, cherry, and lemon in the glass, the measured ginger contributes a botanical backbone as an accent to the fizz.

Check every NA product’s ABV. Choose clearly labeled 0.0% ingredients if you want to avoid trace alcohol.
