Cherry Dawn Chorus
Cherry Rosemary Fizz. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Cherry juice makes a deep, tart sparkling drink, and rosemary gives it a resinous scent that feels slightly unexpected in the morning. Use a small sprig rather than a handful. You want a hint of herb when you raise the glass, with cherry still carrying the flavor. Because the juice is already assertive, taste the mix cold before deciding whether the rosemary needs any extra time.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Sparkling water
- 2 oz Tart cherry juice
- 1 sprig Rosemary
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
