Cherry Coconut Close-Up

Cherry Coconut Chamomile. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Cherry Coconut Close-Up

Cherry gives chamomile a tart fruit note, while coconut water adds a softer sweetness beneath it. There’s no coconut creaminess here, just a light background flavor. Brew the tea before stirring in the other liquids, then taste the cherry carefully. Too much juice can leave little room for chamomile. The interesting part is the combination of floral tea, sour cherry, and a quieter coconut note, rather than a strongly tropical cup.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Hot water
  • 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
  • 2 oz Tart cherry juice
  • 2 oz Coconut water

Make it

  1. Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
  2. Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.

Benefits

Coconut water · a potassium contribution

With coconut water beside chamomile and cherry, this glass offers a little potassium for maintaining normal fluid balance.

The cherry detail

Here cherry supplies a deep, tangy cherry flavor, with chamomile and coconut water turning that familiar ingredient into a different kind of warm cup.
