Carob Cinnamon Cabin

Cinnamon Carob Oat Latte. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Carob Cinnamon Cabin

Cinnamon gives carob a warm, familiar spice note, with oat milk keeping the texture soft and creamy. This is gentler in bitterness than a dark cocoa drink, so let the carob’s own roasted flavor remain noticeable. Mix the powder carefully and use a measured pinch of cinnamon. Both can settle if the mug sits for a while. A gentle stir before another sip keeps the cup even without needing to heat it aggressively.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
  • 1 tsp Carob powder
  • 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon

Make it

  1. Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
  2. Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
  3. Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.

Benefits

Carob with a useful milk choice

For this carob cup, picking calcium-fortified oat milk gives the creamy base an extra role: contributing to your calcium intake.

A warmer side of cinnamon

The oat milk and carob carries a sweet-smelling spice note from cinnamon, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
