Blueberry Mint Daybreak
Blueberry Mint Sparkler. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Blueberry and mint make a gentle sparkling drink with more aroma than sweetness. The mint is easy to notice, while blueberries need a little crushing to release their mild juice. Start by splitting a few berries, then lightly press the leaves. Add the bubbles after that preparation. You should get a hint of berry beneath the fresh mint, rather than a glass that tastes only of sparkling mint water.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 5 leaf Mint leaves
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
Benefits
Blueberry and mint · refreshing fluids
There’s 6 oz of water behind the blueberry and mint in this recipe: everyday hydration with a mellow berry sweetness, rather than another plain glass.
Blueberry · more than a sweet mixer
With mint in the glass, the measured blueberry contributes a mellow berry sweetness as an accent to the fizz.
