Blueberry Lavender Dusk
Blueberry Lavender Lemon Spritz. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Blueberry and lavender make a delicate floral fizz, while lemon provides the clearest tart note. Both the berries and flowers benefit from restraint in different ways: blueberries need a gentle crush, lavender needs a very small measure. Use culinary lavender and taste after a short infusion. Too much can become perfumed. This should remain a mild berry drink with a floral suggestion, rather than lavender water with a little blue color.

- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1/8 tsp Culinary lavender
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice

Benefits
Lemon · a little vitamin C
The 1/2 oz of lemon juice adds some vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, with blueberry and lavender rounding out the flavor.
Blueberry · more than a sweet mixer
With lavender and lemon in the glass, the measured blueberry contributes a mellow berry sweetness as an accent to the fizz.
Use culinary lavender, never essential oil.
