Blueberry Chamomile Blanket

Blueberry Vanilla Chamomile. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Blueberry Chamomile Blanket

Blueberries give chamomile a mild berry note, while vanilla adds a familiar scent that makes the pairing feel softer. Press a few berries so they release juice rather than just floating in the cup. Brew the tea separately and keep the vanilla restrained. This is still a delicate drink; its pleasure is noticing little details, not getting an intense blueberry flavor. Strain if you’d rather avoid the berry skins when sipping slowly.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Hot water
  • 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries
  • 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring

Make it

  1. Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
  2. Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.

The vanilla detail

Here vanilla supplies a sweet-smelling vanilla aroma, with chamomile and blueberry turning that familiar ingredient into a different kind of warm cup.
