Blueberry Blue Hour
Warm Blueberry Lemon Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Blueberries and lemon make a light warm fruit drink with a gentle berry note and a sharper citrus finish. Blueberries need a little pressing to release much flavor into water. Add the lemon cautiously so it doesn’t become the only thing you taste. The cup may have skins and some pulp unless strained. It’s a simple option for someone who wants warm fruit without the stronger flavor of tea or the richness of milk.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
