Blackberry Tahini Breakfast Table
A blended drink with blackberry, tahini, pear.

Blackberries and tahini make a slightly grown-up breakfast combination: tart berries, sesame richness, and a little sweetness from ripe pear. It won't taste as sweet as a banana smoothie, which is part of its appeal. Stir the tahini before measuring and blend it in thoroughly. Blackberry seeds will still be noticeable; strain the fruit first if you want a silkier drink. A small serving has plenty of flavor, with a nutty finish that lingers pleasantly.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1/4 cup Blackberries
- 1 tsp Tahini, stirred
- 1/2 fruit Ripe pear, cored and sliced
Make it
- Prepare all fruit as listed. Use cooked, cooled ingredients where specified; remove every stone, core or hard stem.
- Add the milk and all remaining ingredients to a blender. Blend for 45–60 seconds, scraping down as needed, until smooth.
- Add a small splash of milk if needed to make it pourable. Serve immediately.
Benefits
Blackberry · keep the fiber
Blackberry brings some fiber to the mix—a nutrient involved in normal digestion, alongside a mellow, creamy base from oat milk.
Tahini · texture as well as taste
Blending tahini with oat milk, blackberry, and pear gives you a savory sesame richness throughout the drink, with the whole blended ingredients staying in the glass.
