Blackberry Lemon Lamplight
Warm Blackberry Lemon Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Blackberry and lemon make a tart warm fruit cup with more brightness than sweetness. Press ripe berries lightly so their juice can mingle with the water, then add the lemon gradually. The citrus can easily become stronger than the blackberry. You may prefer to strain the seeds before settling in with it. This is a light alternative to a milky drink, with the fruit’s natural sharpness remaining part of the experience.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1/4 cup Blackberries
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
Benefits
Blackberry and lemon · refreshing fluids
Using blackberry and lemon turns the measured water into a drink with a dark, tart berry flavor. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.
A warmer side of lemon
The blackberry carries a clean citrus sharpness from lemon, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
