Blackberry Coriander Small Hours
Blackberry, Lemon & Coriander Fizz. A different way to make the moment yours.

Coriander adds a faint citrus-like spice note to blackberry and lemon, giving a familiar berry fizz a less obvious finish. A tiny pinch is enough, and it needs to be stirred in well before the sparkling water goes in. Mash and strain the berries if you prefer to avoid seeds. The lemon should sharpen the blackberry rather than dominate it. This is a tart, lightly spiced drink for someone who wants a change from the usual berry-and-herb combinations.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Blackberries
- 1/4 oz Lemon juice
- 1 tiny pinch Ground coriander
Make it
- Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
- Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.
Benefits
