Black Tea Clementine Spice
A chilled drink with clementine, cinnamon.

Clementine and cinnamon give chilled black tea a gently spiced citrus flavor that works well with breakfast. The cinnamon should remain a background note, so whisk in the small amount carefully. Cool the tea before adding the juice to preserve its fresh citrus character. If your tea tastes too dry or bitter, use a shorter brew next time rather than covering it with sugar. The result is fragrant and lightly fruity, with the familiar finish of caffeinated black tea.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Black tea
- 6 oz Water
- 2 oz Clementine juice
- 1/16 tsp Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
- Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
- Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
