Basil Back Porch
Cucumber Basil Fizz. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Cucumber and basil make this a fresh, savory-leaning fizz with very little sweetness. It’s more about the scent of the ingredients than a big fruit flavor. Thin cucumber slices and a few lightly pressed basil leaves help both reach the water. Let them sit briefly before judging the strength. This is a good glass for someone who wants the feeling of making a drink without a juice-heavy or sugary result.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 4 slice Cucumber
- 3 leaf Basil leaves
Make it
- Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
- Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.
Benefits
Cucumber and basil · refreshing fluids
Using cucumber and basil turns the measured water into a drink with a crisp green flavor. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.
Make room for basil
Basil gives the cucumber a savory green fragrance—an aromatic pairing to serve freshly mixed, while the bubbles are lively.
