Apricot Rooibos Last Light
Apricot Ginger Rooibos. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Apricot brings soft fruit sweetness to rooibos, while ginger adds a sharper, warming finish. The nectar gives more body than sliced fruit would, so stir it through thoroughly. Brew the tea first and start with a small amount of ginger. The flavor will develop while you sip. You should still have a mellow apricot-and-tea cup between those warmer notes, rather than a ginger infusion that happens to contain a little fruit nectar.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1 tea bag Rooibos tea
- 2 oz Apricot nectar
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.

Rooibos · caffeine-free with apricot and ginger
With apricot and ginger beside rooibos, you can enjoy a mellow, woody brewed flavor while keeping caffeine out of this recipe.
A warmer side of ginger
The rooibos and apricot carries a peppery warmth from ginger, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
