Apricot Evening Amber
Warm Apricot Honey Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Apricot nectar gives hot water a soft stone-fruit flavor and a little body. Honey adds a rounder sweetness, though the nectar may already provide plenty. Mix the fruit with the water first and taste at a comfortable temperature before sweetening. It’s a warmer, gentler alternative to a sharp citrus cup. The apricot should remain the flavor you notice, with honey helping around the edges rather than turning it into a mug of sweetness.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 2 oz Apricot nectar
- 1/2 tsp Honey (optional)
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
