Apricot Chamomile Dinner Glow

Apricot & Ginger Chamomile Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Apricot Chamomile Dinner Glow

Apricot nectar gives chamomile a mellow fruit sweetness, while ginger adds a small warm note that becomes clearer as you sip. The tea's floral flavor is gentle, so avoid making the ginger too strong. Cool the brew before adding the nectar and let the sliced ginger infuse briefly. This is a softer, caffeine-free dinner drink, particularly useful when a bitter aperitif-style option feels too sharp. The finish should be lightly spiced, with the apricot still easy to recognize.

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
  • 6 oz Water
  • 2 oz Apricot nectar
  • 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced

Make it

  1. Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
  2. Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
  3. Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
  4. Stir well and taste. Remove ginger or herb sprigs when their flavor suits you. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink, then serve chilled.

Benefits

Chamomile ยท caffeine-free with apricot and ginger

Apricot and ginger changes the character of the chamomile, giving a caffeine-free brew more than one flavor to notice.

A different side of ginger

There is a peppery warmth from the measured ginger in the chamomile and apricot mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
