Apricot Chamomile Afterglow
Apricot Chamomile Tea. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Apricot nectar adds a soft fruit sweetness to chamomile’s floral flavor. It also gives the cup a little more body than plain tea without making it creamy. Brew the chamomile first and stir in the nectar gradually. The fruit should be noticeable while leaving some tea behind it. Depending on the nectar, the cup may be sweeter than expected, so taste before assuming a warm fruit tea needs honey as well.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
- 2 oz Apricot nectar
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
Benefits
Chamomile · caffeine-free with apricot
Chamomile gives apricot a brewed base without caffeine, so the flavor does not depend on a caffeinated tea or coffee.
Apricot beside chamomile
Using 2 oz of apricot adds a rounded, tangy stone-fruit flavor to the warm chamomile, bringing aroma as well as taste to this combination.
