Apricot Blossom Night Window

Warm Apricot & Orange-Blossom Cup. A different way to make the moment yours.

Apricot Blossom Night Window

Apricot nectar has a mellow stone-fruit sweetness that pairs well with a few drops of orange blossom water. The floral aroma should be noticeable above the cup, not overwhelm every sip. Diluting the nectar keeps the texture light and prevents it from feeling syrupy. Use a food-grade blossom water and measure the small amount carefully. This is a simple, gently fragrant evening drink for someone who likes delicate flavors and wants a change from vanilla, cinnamon, or a standard herbal tea.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Water
  • 2 oz Apricot nectar
  • 1/16 tsp Food-grade orange blossom water

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit as listed, removing all stones, cores and hard stems.
  2. Put the water and all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes until any fresh fruit has softened.
  3. Mash softened fruit gently, then strain if you prefer a smoother cup. Remove whole peel, herbs or ginger pieces. Serve comfortably warm.
