Apricot Alarm Off
Apricot Ginger Cooler. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Apricot nectar gives this more body than the word “water” might suggest. It has a soft stone-fruit sweetness, and fresh ginger adds a small warming edge. Stir carefully so the thicker nectar doesn’t collect underneath the water. The ginger should interrupt the sweetness without making the drink hot; use a little, let it mingle, and check again before deciding that the apricot needs more spice.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Cold water
- 2 oz Apricot nectar
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
