Apple Window Seat
Apple Cinnamon Water. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Apple and cinnamon are familiar together, but cold water gives the pairing a different feel from cider. There’s a soft apple sweetness rather than a concentrated juice flavor, and the cinnamon sits mostly in the aroma. Ground cinnamon won’t completely dissolve, so a little sediment is normal. Stir before sipping and keep the spice modest if you want the apple to remain the main impression.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Cold water
- 2 oz Apple juice
- 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
Benefits
Apple juice and cinnamon · refreshing fluids
There’s 6 oz of water behind the apple juice and cinnamon in this recipe: everyday hydration with a familiar orchard flavor, rather than another plain glass.
Apple juice · a flavor worth noticing
Using apple juice beside cinnamon gives the glass a familiar orchard flavor, creating its own flavor without needing carbonation or an alcoholic pour.
