Apple Oat Opening
Apple Oat Smoothie. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Apple, banana, cinnamon, and oats put familiar breakfast flavors into one glass. The apple juice adds sweetness as well as fruit flavor, so this doesn’t need to be treated like an unsweetened bowl of porridge. Blend until the oats are smooth, then assess the cinnamon. Too much can make the apple hard to notice; a small amount gives the drink that warm, recognizable apple-oat character.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 2 oz Apple juice
- 1 fruit Banana
- 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Rolled oats (optional)

- Add the milk and all fruit to a blender.

- Pour into a glass. Add a splash more milk if you prefer it thinner.
Benefits
Banana · a potassium contribution
The 1 fruit of banana adds some potassium for normal muscle and nerve function, with oat milk, apple juice, and cinnamon rounding out the flavor.
A blend of apple juice, oat milk, and banana
Using apple juice gives the oat milk, banana, and cinnamon a familiar orchard flavor in a thicker drink for a moment when juice alone would feel a little thin.
Use peeled, chopped apple in place of apple juice for a thicker blend.
