Apple Honey Bedside
Apple Honey Chamomile. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Apple juice and honey give chamomile a rounded sweetness, with the tea’s floral flavor underneath. Because apple already sweetens the cup, honey is best added after a first taste. Brew the chamomile before mixing so its character doesn’t get lost. This is a softer alternative to a lemon-heavy tea, especially if you prefer a familiar orchard-fruit note. The honey should complement the apple rather than make both ingredients difficult to tell apart.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
- 2 oz Apple juice
- 1/2 tsp Honey (optional)
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
