Apple Ginger Morning Tea
Apple Ginger Iced Tea. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Apple juice gives ginger tea a softer, familiar sweetness, and fresh ginger adds a small kick that keeps the cup interesting. It’s closer to a light apple-and-ginger tea than a full-strength warm cider. Stir the juice into the brewed tea, then let the ginger sit briefly. Taste before extending that rest; a little extra time can change the cup from apple-led to decidedly gingery.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Ginger herbal tea
- 6 oz Hot water
- 2 oz Apple juice
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
Make it
- Steep the tea in hot water for the time on its packet, then remove the bag.
- Let the tea cool. Press or mash any soft fruit and stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Pour over ice. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink.
Benefits
Ginger tea · caffeine-free with apple juice and ginger
Choose pure ginger tea for this apple juice and ginger cup: its warming ginger aroma comes without the caffeine found in black tea.
A different side of ginger
There is a peppery warmth from the measured ginger in the ginger tea and apple juice mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
